Trident 7210
The Trident 7210 dates from the final years of ISA graphics, when VGA had become the universal PC display standard. Rather than chasing maximum performance, cards like this prioritised low cost, broad compatibility and reliable operation, making them a common choice for late 486 and early Pentium systems. It represents the point at which VGA hardware had become a commodity, with manufacturers competing on price and integration rather than introducing new graphics capabilities.
