ATI Graphics Ultra Pro

Video RH-V8BW

The ISA ATI Mach32 arrived as Windows was becoming the primary PC interface, shifting the emphasis from DOS graphics performance to fast, hardware-accelerated desktop rendering. Combining a VGA controller with a 2D accelerator on a single card, it offered capabilities previously found only on expensive workstation hardware. Although VLB and PCI versions were faster, the ISA model brought high-performance Windows graphics to the enormous installed base of existing PCs.
