IBM ESDI Hard Disk Attachment

I/O RH-KG2P

The IBM ESDI Hard Disk Attachment is a Micro Channel card that brought high-performance Enhanced Small Device Interface storage to higher-end IBM PS/2 systems, particularly the Model 70 and Model 80. Offering significantly better throughput and reliability than earlier ST-506 controllers, it helped establish the PS/2 as a serious workstation platform.
