Western Digital WD1002A-WX1

I/O RH-B4XK

The Western Digital WD1002A-WX1, introduced in 1988, was an 8-bit ISA MFM hard disk controller for IBM PC/XT and compatible systems. It featured an onboard BIOS with advanced formatting options, including bad-track management ability, and compatibility with both XT and some AT systems made it one of the definitive late-generation MFM controllers for vintage PCs.
