Conner Peripherals CP341i

Storage RH-0251

The Conner CP341i is a 40 MB IDE hard disk from the early 1990s, notable as one of the first generations of ATA drives with the controller integrated onto the drive. It uses embedded servo technology, 1:1 interleave and factory low-level formatting, eliminating the need for controller-specific formatting. Its universal geometry translation improved compatibility with older BIOSes, while its quiet operation and reliability made it a popular choice in Compaq and other OEM desktop systems.
